Welcome to Hometown Sports. By accessing or using our website and web application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

Hometown Sports provides a digital platform that allows coaching entities, individual trainers, and organizations ("Coaches") to create, list, and manage sports coaching events, clinics, and training sessions. It also allows users ("Customers") to browse and subscribe to these activities.

• Registration: You must create an account to host or subscribe to events. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Account Security: You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Age Requirement: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If a Customer is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create the account and manage the registration.

Coaches listing events on Hometown Sports represent and warrant that:

• They hold all necessary certifications, licenses, insurance, and qualifications required to teach the specified sport or activity.
• The descriptions, locations, times, and pricing of their events are accurate and truthful.
• They will provide a safe, respectful environment for all participants.

• Direct Payments to Coaches: Customers agree to pay all specified event fees directly to the hosting Coach. Hometown Sports acts solely as a booking and scheduling platform. We do not process, collect, or hold payments on behalf of Customers for coaching events.
• Platform Fees for Coaches: Coaches agree to pay Hometown Sports the specified platform fee, subscription, or usage fee to list and manage their events. These fees are detailed in the Coach Account dashboard and are securely processed by our third-party payment provider.
• Cancellations by Customers: Because payments are made directly to the Coach, all cancellation requests and refund demands must be handled directly between the Customer and the Coach. Hometown Sports is not responsible for issuing refunds to Customers.
• Cancellations by Coaches: If a Coach cancels an event, the Coach is solely responsible for issuing refunds or credits directly to the affected Customers. Failure to resolve customer cancellations may result in the suspension or termination of the Coach's platform account.

• Platform Role: Hometown Sports is a neutral venue. We are not a party to any contract, agreement, or payment transaction made between Coaches and Customers.
• User-to-User Disputes: If a dispute arises regarding payments, non-attendance, event quality, cancellations, or refunds, the Customer and Coach must resolve the issue directly between themselves.
• Release of Platform: You expressly release Hometown Sports (and our officers, directors, agents, and employees) from any and all claims, demands, and damages of every kind arising out of or in any way connected with disputes between users.
• Platform Intervention: While we have no obligation to monitor or resolve disputes, we reserve the right to review user complaints. If a Coach or Customer is found to be engaging in fraudulent activity, failing to deliver promised services, or violating these Terms, we may suspend or permanently delete their account at our sole discretion.

• Physical Activity Risk: You acknowledge that participating in sports coaching, training, and athletic events involves inherent risks of physical injury, illness, or property damage.
• Waiver: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hometown Sports acts solely as a booking provider and is not liable for any injuries, disputes, damages, or losses arising from interactions, training sessions, or events organized between Coaches and Customers.

All content, logos, graphics, and software code on the Hometown Sports platform are the property of Hometown Sports and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our Service without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for behavior that violates these Terms or harms the platform community.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Hometown Sports operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new version on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
